A testimonial series for the City of Paramount's Home Improvement Program. I interviewed residents who used the program and shaped their experiences into short stories that make a public service feel accessible.
After working on the visual design for Paramount NOW, the city's service request app, I was tasked with producing its launch video. The app replaced the city's former platform, so my launch had one job: get residents to understand what they're being asked to download.
I shoot and edit vertical videos for the City of Paramount's social channels, built for how people actually watch: on their phones, often with the sound off, and one thumb away from scrolling past. Every video opens with a hook and uses on-screen text to turn a city update into something worth stopping for. I then track reach, engagement, and watch time to make the next one better.
A monthly series that brings residents face-to-face with their mayor. Each episode pairs City updates and upcoming events with an "Around Town" visit to local landmarks and hidden gems. I produce, shoot, and edit the series, keeping the mayor's message conversational and easy to watch.
When a new business comes to Paramount, residents hear it from us first. These short-form videos build buzz before opening day and give the community something to get excited about. They're also some of the City's most shareable posts, turning local business news into a steady driver of online engagement.
What does it take to change your community? Produced for the nonprofit Long Beach Forward, this series follows residents through participatory budgeting, a process that lets locals decide directly how part of a public budget is spent.
Filmed and edited for K Taylor Insurance Solutions, this reel spotlights a local business the agency protects— Beyond Two Rings in La Habra. The video was part of the video-first strategy to lift the firm's average post engagement.
